Description
The City of Modesto, Public Works Department, Traffic Electrical Division, require a Contractor to provide
concrete services for high voltage repairs and miscellaneous Traffic Electrical repairs which is includes but not limited to grading, forming, pouring, form removal, and backfilling on an as needed basis throughout the year. The price submitted by the Contractor for High Voltage Repairs (as specified in the pricing schedule) shall be the price for repairs within a circuit area. An example circuit area is provided in Exhibit A. Within a circuit, there could be twenty (20) locations of 5FT by 5FT sidewalk ready for replacement. For this example, the unit cost to replace the sidewalk would be the unit cost for 500SF of replacement. Circuits or projects not within ¼ mile of each other shall be determined as separate projects. Demolition will be done by City forces for the High Voltage Repairs, Contractor only needs to provide price for repairing the specified line items which includes grading, forming, pouring, form removal, and backfilling. The price submitted by the Contractor for Flat Work Repairs (as specified in the pricing schedule) shall be the
price for curb, gutter, sidewalk, taper, transition apron, drive apron, and asphalt concrete repairs. Contractor is responsible for demolition, saw cutting, and 4” to 6” thick concrete. The successful Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, fuel, tools, licenses and insurance necessary to perform the services outlined in this RFB. Bonds required. Prevailing wages apply. Local Preference.
