Description

The Long Beach Water Department (LBWD) intends to engage the services of an engineering consultant (Consultant) to provide construction management and inspection services during construction for the Cast Iron Main Replacement Lakewood Boulevard (MC-5169) in the City of Long Beach, California (Project). Project includes construction of 4-, 6-, and 8-inch diameter ductile iron water main to replace existing 6-, and 8-inch diameter cast iron water main, including: installation of ductile iron pipeline; ductile iron water main interconnections; valves; fittings; connections to existing water mains and laterals; installation of water service connections; reconnection of existing water services and meters; installation of fire hydrants; abandonment or removal of existing water main; surface restoration; and traffic control. Bonds required. Prevailing wages apply.
