Description
Upgrade and modernization of the existing Cantex dry well / wet well lift station and electrical components. The project will consist of conversion of the existing lift station to a wet well submersible type station including: wet well rehabilitation with new 6’ dia. riser, 7’ dia flat top, pumps, 6” discharge piping, rails, and floats; the removal of the existing Cantex Dry Pit, pumps, valves, and appurtenances as shown on the plans; installation of new 7’ dia. valve vault on concrete pad with air release, check, and plug valves; the replacement of 6” PVC force main from new valve vault to existing bypass connection; extension of existing LS drive to west; removal of existing elevated structure and construction of new structure for controls: installation of concrete pads around the new wet well /valve pit area and also for support of the new elevated structure; electrical work and utility coordination; new controls; and demolition of the lift station, valve vault, and controls including filling a portion of the dry well with flowable fill before new valve vault pad is built on top. Work shall also include all supervision, equipment, traffic control, granular backfill, pavement restoration (milling included), flushing, disinfecting, testing and all appurtenances necessary to complete the work shown in the Drawings and Specifications. All work must be ready for satisfactory and continuous operation, in accordance with the Drawings and Specifications.
