One Year Contract: Burial Services & Grounds Maintenance at Pleasanton Pioneer Cemetery, Pleasanton CA

The total area of the PPC is approximately 5.2 acres in size. The majority of the historic sections of the cemetery are maintained at a “Pioneer Level” which means that the cemetery has no formal water, and plant material that grows with the seasons and the rain. The older sections of the cemetery are mostly made up of annual grasses and wildflowers. The newer phases of the cemetery have included decorative poles with hanging flower baskets and landscape improvements along Sunol Blvd, at the storage area, along the South Hill portion of the cemetery, and throughout the cemetery in key areas. Scope also includes burial services and market installation, open/close of grave spaces, plot ownership confirmation prior to burial, graveside prep/event management, installation of vaults as needed, ground leveling and soil compacting, grounds maintenance, graves, coping and headstones, gopher and squirrel abatement, turf mowing and edging, shrubs and trees, weed and vegetation control, trenches and casket areas.
