Emergency Generators Maintenance and Repairs, Worcester, MA

The Worcester Housing Authority (WHA) is requesting quotes for the maintenance and repairs on emergency generators in various federal and state properties. Scope of services: Meet with WHA staff on a regular basis to advise of the condition of the generator sets and switches. Provide the WHA with planned routine service as outlined hereafter in this specification. Planned maintenance shall be performed during normal business hours (Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.). Provide emergency services on an as needed basis for the duration of this contract. Provide repairs, as needed, on a time and materials basis. Maintain an on line data base on the WHA’s behalf, and provide password access to designated WHA staff. Coordinate with the WHA contract manager one annual inspection with the Elevator contractor. Repairs will be made on a time and materials basis. The vendor will be paid a Standard Rate of pay for each hour worked Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., all other work shall be paid with the Premium rate. Materials shall be paid cost plus 15%. Contractor will be responsible for submitting their invoice with each material charge, no material charges will be paid without a copy of their invoice. The term of this contract shall extend for one (1) year, from November 1, 2021 through October 31, 2022, with the option, at the sole discretion of the WHA, to extend for two additional one-year terms in accordance to the terms and conditions.
