Design-Build Fire Station 503, Casa Grande, AZ

New Construction: The site is approximately 3-5 acres of City-owned land, located off N. Pinal Ave just West of Rodeo Rd. The fire apparatus will exit onto Rodeo Rd. from the Northside. It may be assumed that utilities are readily available, and minimal ROW improvements will need to be made, except for driveways, overhead power line re-routing, and fire department traffic signals (Opticom system.) Design Requirements: Design creativity and familiarity with the City's current Fire Station design guidelines and permitting process will help produce concepts that will be quickly accepted and expedited through the process. Project Scope: The Fire Station is currently planned to be a four (4) bay and ½ bay for an ambulance, a single-story structure of approximately 20,000-22,000 SF. It will provide sleeping quarters for ten (10) firefighters, a large kitchen, dining area, day/training room, biohazard room, laundry room, locker rooms, fitness room, secured parking area, public parking area, and offices or workspaces for the crew(s). In addition, a community/meeting room for staff and the public to use. Lastly, the site will include architectural designs, landscape, and hardscape to match and blend with the surrounding community and the nearby Casa Grande Rodeo grounds.
