SOQ CMX City Hall Renovations and Repairs Project, Lancaster, OH

It is the Owner’s goal for City Hall to continue to operate as the City’s hub of operations for many more years. Therefore, in 2017 City Officials had several condition studies and building systems analyses completed to determine the building’s overall condition. From these studies it was determined that significant work was necessary to preserve the building and to maintain its usefulness in the future. Those previous studies have been briefly reviewed in 2021. The Owner has prioritized a list of renovations and repairs that will be shared during the Request for Proposals stage of the procurement process. The selected CMR will be expected to advise the Owner on a cost-effective plan that will preserve the building, maintain its functionality in a more technical world, and maintain the building’s historical character, insofar as practical. Bonds apply.
