Description

Consultant will provide inspection and verification services for turf removal, device-based, and customized water efficiency projects under the following Metropolitan conservation programs: 1. The "SoCal Water$mart" regional rebate program provides rebates for: a. Indoor and outdoor water-saving devices for single-family homes b. Indoor and outdoor water-saving devices for businesses and commercial sites and multi-family residences, such as apartments, mobile homes, condominiums, and townhomes c. Turf Replacement projects for both residential and commercial properties 2. The Water Savings Incentive Program (WSIP) provides financial incentives for customized water efficiency projects. Examples of some of the types of projects are: a. Industrial process improvements b. Commercial laundry systems c. Irrigation system improvements 3. The Member Agency Administered Program utilizes Metropolitan's conservation funding and provides incentives for replacing high-water use devices similar to the devices rebated in the "SoCal Water$mart" program, distribution events, direct installation projects, and potentially local landscape transformation programs. Consultant would provide inspection services similar to those described for the "SoCal Water$mart" program on an as-needed basis. 4. Metropolitan could embark on various studies on the impacts of its rebate program. Separate inspections of turf removal sites and commercial device sites may be required to support its studies. Metropolitan will provide additional details on inspection requirements should these studies occur. 5. Consultant must be willing to meet Metropolitan's health and safety protocols and inspection programs requirements. Bonds required. Prevailing wages apply.
