Description
For each zone bid, the Contractor shall have available a minimum of one (1) adequate
drilling rig, as approved by the Engineer for the drilling of the test borings and production
wells. The Contractor shall also have available at all times one competent crew and all tools, equipment, and supplies that may be necessary for Authority work during the life of the Contract. In addition, there may be times when the workload is such that two (2) rigs
and two (2) crews are required for test boring and/or well construction work in a particular zone. The Contractor must be able to obtain the services of a second such crew and rig as needed in order to perform this additional work in a timely fashion, as dictated by the Engineer. Zone A: West of William Floyd Parkway and Zone B: East of William Floyd Parkway. This Contract is being bid in two (2) separate zones as delineated above. A Contractor may not be awarded both zones. Should work be required by the Authority in a particular zone, and should that zone's Contractor not have sufficient manpower and/or equipment available to perform the work when requested, the Authority reserves the right, at its discretion, to utilize a Contractor from a different zone, if applicable, to perform the work in the zone in question. The contract period is November 1, 2021 through October 31, 2022 (with option to extend). Deadline for questions is September 29, 2021 by 3:00pm. Bonds and prevailing wages
