South & South Foothill Interceptors Level Monitoring Station Improvements, Oakland, CA

This project includes installation of four new wastewater interceptor level monitoring stations (LMS) and replacement of one existing LMS enclosure in a new location in Oakland, CA as shown on the drawings and as specified herein. Work generally includes demolition of sidewalk, curb and gutter, and paving; trenching, installation of underground PG&E electrical service conduits from secondary utility boxes and utility poles to LMS instrument enclosures; installation of underground instrument bubbler tubes and carrier pipes, and underground radar type instrument conduits and cables, from LMS enclosures to wastewater interceptor manholes; installation of bubbler tube carrier pipes and tubes inside wastewater manholes down into the flowline; trench backfilling and surface restoration; furnishing and installation of LMS enclosures, reinforced concrete foundations, and instrumentation and mechanical equipment inside the enclosures; and demolition of an existing LMS enclosure and quality monitoring station and associated instrumentation and mechanical equipment, and electrical power and telephone conductors from utility pole to enclosure; trench spoils and debris handling, sampling, and testing, and proper disposal; traffic control plans preparation, and all required testing and training. Coordination with the City for permits and acceptance of this work will be required. This project will require multiple trades and types of work; for example (note: this list is not all inclusive): demolition, saw-cutting, concrete coring, hazardous materials handling, grading, excavation, fill, concrete, rebar, mechanical, electrical, fencing, trucking, landscaping, paving, and other required work and trades. Work to be completed within 340 calendar days. Bonds required. Prevailing wages apply.
