Description
The project scope includes, but is not limited to, the following major work items: (1) Construction of 6,500 linear feet (LF) of 90-inch diameter fiberglass reinforced polymer mortar pipe (FRPMP) gravity sewer interceptor, by open cut and other than open cut methods; (2) Removal of existing inactive 54-inch diameter pipe when encountered in the same trench, and filling of remainder of existing 54-inch diameter pipe with CLSM to remove from active service; (3) Construction of 20 FRP manholes; (4) Construction of 750 LF of 90-inch FRPMP under Union Pacific Railroad right-of-way and two separate TxDOT rights-of-way using tunnel liner plate; (5) Coordination with future tie-in connections; (6) Modifications to the Central Regional Wastewater System (CRWS) Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) construction entrance; remove / replace contractor access gate; (7) Erosion control and fence improvements. Bonds required. Prevailing wages apply. HSP required.
