Description
The purpose of the Prequalification Submittal is to provide the District with a mechanism to evaluate and determine which general contractors are qualified to participate in these Projects because of its their specialized nature. Only those general contractors who have duly completed the Prequalification Submittal and have been determined to be qualified by the District will be eligible to receive and submit a bid on the Projects at a later date. The work under this Contract is the first two stream restoration sites (Group 1) located in or near the City of Riverside, CA. Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, and materials to construct nearly 8,000 ft of new or enhanced creek channels and floodplains, remove non‐native plants and revegetate over 25 acres, construct in‐channel fish habitat structures, install new culverts, and stabilize eroding streambanks. The scope of work requires temporary water control and working with threatened and endangered species. The General Contractor must include a qualified re-vegetation contractor experienced with installing native plants and irrigation systems. Alternate ID RFQ-ENV090721
