Description
The description and location of the project is as follows: For the improvement of a certain section of State Highway in Clearfield County, Irvona Borough, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, State Route 3005, Section A02. The project being situated as follows: On State Route 3005 from Segment 0060/Offset 2315 to Segment 0070/Offset 0229. For the removal of the existing Steel I-Beam Bridge and construction of its replacement Single Span Comp P/S Concrete Spread Box Beam Bridge. A detour is to be used for traffic control. Work involves working on a levee and has a potential for encountering historic fill. Approach work consisting of superpave asphalt mixture designs for the base, binder, and wearing courses, guide rail, and miscellaneous construction for a construction length of approximately 730 feet (0.14 miles) as indicated on the approved drawings. DBE goal 4%. Prequalification required. Prevailing wages apply.
