The description and location of the project is as follows: For the improvement of certain sections of State Highway In Juniata County, Lack Township And Mifflin Borough, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, State Route 3023 Section A03 And State Route 0333 Section A08. The project is situated as follows: On State Route 3023 from Segment 0010 Offset/1363 to Segment 0010 Offset/0538 for the SR 3023 Section A03 portion. On State Route 0333 from Segment 0144 Offset/2266 to Segment 0144 Offset/1816 for the SR 0333 Section A08 portion. The total construction length is approximately 875 feet (.165 miles) For the removal of the existing SR 3023 2-Span Steel I-Beam structure and construction of its replacement, Single Span Composite Steel Plate Girder Bridge. Construction includes Superpave Asphalt Mixture Designs for the base, binder, and wearing courses, drainage items, guide rail, pavement markings and miscellaneous construction as indicated on the approved drawings included in the bid package. For Rehabilitation of large diameter pipe on SR 0333 and miscellaneous construction as indicated on the approved drawings included in the bid package. DBE goal 5%. Prequalification required.
