Description
Harris County is soliciting proposals from qualified firms for the reconstruction and improvements at Kowis Street from Royal Pine Drive to James Driver Park for Precinct 2. The Kowis Street Improvements Project (Kowis) is the first project in the Harris County / Houston region pursuing verification under the Envision Sustainable Infrastructure Framework (Envision). Envision is used by planners and engineers to make public infrastructure projects more sustainable in the same way that the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) program is used by architects to make occupied buildings more sustainable. Questions are due by 12:00 PM on Oct 8th. Bonds required. Prevailing wages apply. MWBE Utilization Plan required.
