Murphey Candler Park – Pool Parking Improvements, Brookhaven, GA

The proposed Pool Parking Improvement project located at the swimming pool in Murphey Candler Park, on Candler Lake W NE, in Brookhaven, GA, includes, but is not limited to, the following: • Picking up LDP20-00020 from the City of Brookhaven. • Protection of existing trees and bushes on the site. • Install tree protection fencing according to new tree ordinance and plans. • Coordination and collaboration with the tree care company hired by the City. • Erosion control and protection of existing vegetation. • Clearing trees and shrubs in designated areas. • Milling surface of asphalt parking lot as identified. • Demolition of asphalt parking lot as identified to be removed. • Removal of asphalt and concrete curbs identified to be removed • Staking out curbs and parking improvements for review and adjustment. • Full depth patching of parts of the parking lot. • Resurface topping coats over old pavement. • New base and asphalt pavement. • Striping for parking spaces and crosswalks. • Placing new concrete curbs in the parking lot. • Placing sidewalk along Candler Lake West NE. • Installing guard rail and concrete border retaining wall along sidewalk • Coordination with City and Ga. Power to relocate power pole guy wires. • Storm drainage piping and structures as identified. • Landscape Planting and hose bib irrigation installation. • Bio-retention swales in the parking lot. • Gravel emergency and fire exit driveway with bollards. • Tree care and protection for the trees identified to remain.
