Description
The Fruitvale Alive! Gap Closure Project will construct Class IV raised bicycle tracks on both sides of Fruitvale Avenue from the Fruitvale Bridge at Alameda Avenue to East 12th Street. Improvements include sidewalk, curb ramp, pedestrian lighting, pedestrian beacons, traffic signals, drainage and landscape. Coordination with Caltrans, Union Pacific Railroad, AC Transit, Bay Area Rapid Transit, City of Alameda and Alameda County is required. Improvements are shown on the plans and described in specifications.
