Description

This contract covers the weed-eating (string trimming) of City of Asheville guardrails. Also included is the removal of trees less than 6 inches in diameter at breast height at the direction of the City inspector. Removed trees shall be trees that are either growing through the guardrail or in front of the guardrail. The City desires two complete of guardrail trimming be performed under this contract: The Asheville Business Inclusion Policy requires Minority and Women Business Enterprise outreach on City contracts. MBE and WBE goals. Additionally, N.C.G.S. § 143-128.2 requires minority and women business outreach for building construction projects requiring the below provided information to be reported to the State of North Carolina Office of Historically Underutilized Businesses (HUB).
