Mowing at Various County Facilities, Wyoming County, NY

The work called for under this specification consists of furnishing qualified supervision, labor, supplies, materials, and equipment not furnished by the County. Lawn Maintenance: Turf areas are to be mowed once weekly (unless noted) when grass reaches or exceeds the height of 3.5 inches. Mowing height is never to be LESS than 2.5 inches. In the event the lawn becomes soft from excessive rain, mowing will be postponed until the sod is firm enough to support equipment, avoiding the threat of turf damage. Grass is never to be blown in the direction of buildings, vehicles, propane tanks, windows, people, or on to any other fixed devices. Grass clippings and clumps are to be removed from all lawns, bed areas, streets, parking areas, sidewalks, curbs, patios, entrance ways , etc. All tall grass left around trees, fences, window wells, signs, bollards, buildings, are to be trimmed weekly. Walks, drives and curb areas will be power edged as needed to maintain a neat appearance. The term of this contract is for three years starting January 1st 2022 and terminating on December 31st 2024.
