Description
Total Small Business Set-Aside, NAICS Code: 238210 - Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors. This project will upgrade the Direct Current Systems and Low Voltage Switchgear at Lower Monumental. The upgrade will improve reliability and align the projects with the Regional Station Service Design Philosophy. Upgrades to the DC Systems include replacement of the DC system panels, preferred AC panels, chargers, battery boards and installation of load bank for performing discharge tests on the batteries in accordance with IEEE and the NERC/WECC requirements. This project will also replace the 480-Volt Low Voltage Station Service Switchgear including breakers and transformers for SQ0, SQ1; transformers for SQ2; 480-Volt Motor Control Centers and Panelboards FCQ1, CQ1 and CQ1.1, CQ01 through CQ05, and SH and SU Switchgear. Bonds, insurance & prevailing wages apply.
