Description
Sealed bids are hereby solicited for the construction of pedestrian access improvements along Mount Vernon Memorial Highway, from Gristmill Entrance to Southwood Drive. The works will include the construction of approximately 6,200 LF of 10’ share use path, and concrete sidewalk, the construction of the 16’ wide pedestrian bridge spanning approximately 218 LF to be built in place with timber pilling, supported with steel I-beams, rebar and concrete decking, architectural treatment, retaining wall, parapet wall, concrete barrier, coffer dam, storm pipes and structures, stormwater underground detention facility, curb and gutter, handrails, pedestrian signal, concrete asphalt paving and pavement marking, and related items. Contract length is 365 calendar days. Q&A due 7 days prior to bid. Prequalification required.
