Installation of Private Sewer Service Lateral Connections, Location 2, Chapel Hill & Carrboro, NC

Orange County, North Carolina is releasing this Request for Proposals (hereafter ‘RFP’) seeking responses from qualified licensed plumbers/contractors to provide professional services for the installation of a private sewer service lateral connection for a qualified lowto-moderate income (LMI) owner of a Heritage Lot with Pre-Existing Dwellings in the Historic Rogers Road Area. The private sewer service lateral connection is defined here as the 4- inch diameter sewer service lateral pipe and associated appurtenances located on private property, installed from the existing stub-out/clean-out near the property line to the private dwelling to be served. This work will also include the abandonment of the existing private septic tank per Orange County requirements upon completion of the private sewer service lateral connection. This work does not include nor obligate the qualified licensed plumber to bring up to code any non-altered existing plumbing. The Historic Rogers Road Area is located within jurisdictional areas of the Town of Chapel Hill and the Town of Carrboro in Orange County, North Carolina.
