Plant 2 Distribution Center H 480V Switchgear Under Voltage Relays Upgrade, Huntington Beach, CA

This Project includes the following modifications for all three (3) Switchgears: i. 480V Switchgear Buses SWGR-HA-A and SWGR-HA-B ii. 480V Switchgear Buses SWGR-HB-A and SWGR-HB-B iii. 480V Switchgear Buses SWGR-HC-A and SWGR-HC-B - Replace existing undervoltage relays 28ITUV300 and 28ITUV301 (part of 480V SWGR-HA-A/B); 28ITUV310 and 28ITUV311 (part of 480V SWGR-HB-A/B); 28ITUB320 and 28ITUV321 (part of 480V SWGR-HC-A/B) with SEL751 Model with Inputs/Outputs and Serial Port configurations to match existing undervoltage relay functionality. OC San Standard SEL 751 inputs/outputs. configuration minimum requirements are provided for reference. Contractor shall verify required SEL751 configuration and provide one that matches the 480V Switchgear auto-transferring protection scheme functionality. - Existing undervoltage auto transferring/protection scheme is based on two (2) GE Multilin Relays MIV/MIV II as some of the undervoltage relays were replaced over time. Upgrades will keep the same undervoltage / auto transferring / protection scheme functionality but will base it on two (2) SEL751 Relays. - All existing alarms and indications to SCADA shall remain the same as prior to upgrades. iv. For all three (3) Switchgears existing test switches will remain the same. After the upgrade, validate protective relay functionality and Automatic Transfer on Loss of Line A and Line B Voltages (Dead Bus Transfer). Project duration is 180 calendar days.
