Description
This project consists of removing roadway striping and markings, sweeping, crack filling, localized "dig-out" street repairs, slurry coating, and restoring roadway striping and markings for approx. 1,181,000 square feet of asphalt roadways while implementing advanced construction notifications for the public, and traffic control throughout the operation. Additionally, about 15,000 linear feet of alleyways will have fire lanes restriped, resulting in a total of 30,000
linear feet of six-inch wide red fire lane striping. Additive bid items have been included to potentially expand the project scope, at the City's sole discretion, to include bicycle-related markings on Alameda Boulevard and Tenth Street and walking improvement markings at the intersection of Tenth Street and Olive Avenue. Questions are due Oct 21st by 2:00 PM.
