Tyngsborough Wellfield Manganese Treatment Facility Project, Tyngsborough, MA

New Construction: The work consists of constructing a 2.65 MGD water treatment plant for manganese filtration of groundwater from the existing Tyngsborough Wellfield located west of Frost Road, Route 3A (166 Frost Road). The construction work will include demolition of the existing residential buildings and site utilities, civil site work improvements, buried concrete water storage tanks, 7,468 masonry building and building utility systems, generator, including drinking water process piping, pumping and equipment and associated controls. Sub bids will be received until October 26, 2021 at 2:00pm. Sub trades include Masonry, Roofing and Flashing, Painting, Plumbing, HVAC, and Electrical. The Work will be substantially completed within 650 days from the date of the Notice to Proceed and completed and ready for final payment in accordance with paragraph 15.06 of the General Conditions within 720 days from the date of the Notice to Proceed. General Bidders and Filed Sub-Bidders must submit with their Bid, a certificate of eligibility issued by the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM), showing that the Bidder has been approved to bid on projects of the size and nature as advertised herein. MBE goal is 4.2% and WBE goal is 4.5%.
