Solid Waste Vendor Services, Gilmer County, GA

The Company will provide all solid waste services for the collection of residential and municipal solid waste at all of the current operational County convenience centers. Solid waste services include the equipment, hauling and disposal of residential and municipal solid waste for the County convenience centers. All equipment furnished for collection at the sites must be operational, in good and in proper working order, free of excessive breakdown. All solid waste must be hauled at a frequency that will prevent the storage capacity of the containers from being exceeded. All solid waste containers that need to be emptied will be reported by 4:00 pm eastern standard time to the Company’s representative and the container must be emptied by the end of the next working day.The Company certifies that it has a standing inventory of all sized containers sufficient that when any container is pulled and empty container will be placed immediately on-site to replace the “pulled” container to assure that no site is left without a container. The Company will have two roll off trucks available at all times deemed necessary by the County. The Company shall be responsible for the hauling of all solid waste. It is considered for the contract period that all solid waste containers will be transported to an appropriate and approved site for disposal and processing of municipal solid waste.
