Lucchesi Turf Field LED Lighting Upgrade Project, Petaluma, CA

The work includes designing and upgrading the existing lighting system at the Lucchesi Park Turf Field. The design will include upgrading existing light fixtures with a newly engineered LED lighting system, using the existing lightpoles, in addition the desgin should include the upgrade of the existing light controller system to provide a system that can be remotely operated. The new lighting system will need to be designed to meet the lighting requirements of the field by having an average foot-candle (fc) coverage across the field within the range of 30 to 50 fc, a color temperature between 3500K and 4500K, and a 100,000 hour L85 design life or better with a 5-year warrantee minimum. The project will also include the removal and disposal of the original light fixtures and the installation of the newly designed lighting system on the existing light poles. The existing light poles will need to be preserved with rust inhibitor and repainted. The work is located at the eastern side of Lucchesi Park along the existing synthetic turf soccer field, near Maria Drive.
