The principal features of the work to be performed and equipment to be provided for the following areas under this project are as follows: All work required to furnish & install approximately 215 linear feet of 8-inch diameter SDR-35 & 155 Linear feet of 12-inch diameter SDR-35 PVC pipe, fittings, and appurtenances. All work required to furnish & install six (6) new sanitary sewer manholes of different depths with manhole appurtenance. All work required to remove & dispose four (4) existing sanitary sewer manholes and appurtenances. All work required to remove & dispose approximately 155 linear feet of existing abandoned-in-place 8-inch diameter Cast Iron Sewer pipe, fittings/etc. as shown. All work required to abandoned-in-place approximately 210 linear feet of existing 8-inch diameter Cast Iron Sewer Pipe/fittings/etc. by filling the pipeline with grout & plugging the main at both ends as shown. All work required to abandoned-in-place one (1) existing sanitary sewer manhole & manhole appurtenances as shown. All work required to install temporary bypassing of the sewer system wherever required. All work required to install inlet protection and maintenance during construction of the contract. All work required to Provide temporary traffic control measures (barrels/cones/street signs/barricade lights/concrete barriers/crash cushions/etc.). All work required to install temporary and permanent replacement of pavement as shown. All work required to mill 2-inches off the newly installed binder course and 2-inches off the existing remaining roadway surface as shown. All work required to install pavement stripping (White & Yellows). All work required to restore all disturbed areas including, concrete, sidewalks, Concrete curbs, metal guide rails (removal & reinstall) and pavement markings/etc. Site Restoration Work. All other work required to complete the above. The foregoing is a general description only and shall not be construed as a complete description of the work to be performed on this project. The undersigned hereby agrees to commence work under this Contract within five (5) calendar days from the date of a written "Notice to Proceed" from the Owner to do so and to substantially complete the work in all respects, including all parts thereof, except for the tentative list of items to be completed or corrected, warranty and permanent pavement replace (if required) within one hundred and twenty (120) consecutive calendar days from the serving of said Notice with the constraints as stipulated in the Contract Documents. All work except for warranty and permanent pavement replacement (if required) must be completed within thirty (30) consecutive calendar days thereafter. Permanent pavement replacement (if required) must be completed within sixty (60) to ninety (90) consecutive calendar days from the date of temporary pavement replacement but not to exceed the final completion date.
