Potential Subcontracting Opportunity - Waterman Road Water Treatment Plant Tank No. 2 Rehabilitation Project, Elk Grove, CA

In general, the work to be performed under this contract includes the furnishing of all labor, materials, and equipment for repairing one ground level steel water storage tank’s internal roof support structure (3.5 MG, built 1997); and for the interior and exterior recoating of the water storage tank and other related facilities at a water treatment plant.  All facilities are owned by the Sacramento County Water Agency and are located at 8246 Waterman Road, Elk Grove, CA  95829 (between Vintage Park Drive & Calvine Road).  The work includes, but is not limited to, replacement of interior inner ring roof rafter beams (36) and center column cone of the water storage tank; installation of two new roof vents atop the water storage tank; installation of a perimeter guard rail atop the water storage tank; surface preparation and coating application of the interior and exterior surfaces of the water storage tank, the hydropneumatic tank (9-ft dia, 24-ft long) and two reaction vessels (7-ft dia, 21-ft long, ea); exterior surface preparation and coating application of four filters and all above ground piping and appurtenances connected to the filters; exterior surface preparation and coating application of site bollards, site hydrants and previously coated electrical conduits; and, compliance with all health, safety, and other applicable federal, state or local regulations whose jurisdiction the facilities are located within.
