Description
Citrus County, Florida (“County”) invites interested parties to submit a Proposal to provide Disaster Debris Removal Monitoring Services. Proposals are being sought by Citrus County for the monitoring of the removal of debris resulting from, but not limited to, catastrophic events such as tornadoes and hurricanes. This contract would potentially be invoked for County, State, and Federally declared disaster events. Services may include, monitoring of the collection and removal of debris including the monitoring of clearing and removal of debris from public rights-of-way, streets and roadways; monitoring of the demolition and removal of condemned structures and buildings that pose threat to public safety resulting from the disaster event; monitoring the processing of debris including sorting, grinding, mulching, and burning; and monitoring the disposal of debris at designated sites within Citrus County; monitoring the operations of temporary debris staging and processing sites; monitoring the collection and disposal of hazardous waste, bio-hazardous waste and dead animals. All services provided shall be in conformance with established FHWA, FEMA, and/or Florida Emergency Management regulations or criteria unless otherwise directed.
