Webb Co. Detox Facility Renovation Project, Laredo Co., TX

In general the project involves: Construction, demolition, renovation, and facility operations during occupancy. Work involves: Renovation of an existing Institutional Facility I-3 Detention Facility to I-2 Detoxification Facility. The renovation is concentrated on the interior of the building with some exterior existing exterior components renovated and new exterior improvements. Interior renovation consists on converting existing cells to detoxification rooms by elimination of built in components such as bed, toilet/sink combo and replacement of high security door with solid core door. Additional support spaces will be added within existing building and conversion of other spaces. Area of scope is estimated at 10,505 SF of interior renovation plus 1,791 SF of renovation of existing basketball court, addition of new canopy for facility entrance and another canopy for patience and courtyard area near basketball. Addendum No 1 changed bid due from Oct 7th to Oct 14th.
