Description
Garland Power & Light is in the process of converting all streetlights from high pressure sodium (HPS) lights to light emitting diodes (LEDs). The City of Garland is requesting bids for the completion of this project. The project will consist of changing out the poles and luminaires (light head) and energizing the new LED light. It will also consist of installing a ROAM node with each luminaire. This includes the GPS of the luminaire, the circuit, the address (if known), and the construction standard to be entered into the ROAM MESA device (GP&L will provide). Training will be provided on the MESA device before construction commences. Questions are due no later than October 14th by 5:00 PM.
Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
