RFQ Timber Lake Job Corps Center Bldg. 1467 Freezer Cooler Door Replacement, Estacada, OR

Total Small Business Set-Aside,  NAICS Code: 811310 - Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance. Work for this project requires the Contractor to be responsible for supplying all labor, materials, equipment, utilities, miscellaneous items, freight and delivery and all necessary valid licenses for the work summarized as follows:
1. Replace upstairs sliding-type refrigerator and freezer doors. Work shall include furnishing and installing new doors, frames, hinges, seals, closers and roller wheels, heat tape and controls for freezer doors, and any other items necessary for the proper operation of the new doors. Existing door dimensions are 44” wide x 79” tall x 3.5” thick; door openings are 36” wide x 78” tall. Replace downstairs sliding-type unit with conventional swing-type doors. Work shall include furnishing and installing new doors, frames, hinges, seals, closers, heat tape and controls for freezer doors, and any other items necessary for the proper operation of the new doors. Existing sliding door dimensions are 51” wide x 79” tall x 3.5” wide; door openings are 48” wide x 78” tall. Existing doors, frames and ancillary equipment shall be removed and properly disposed of off-site. Contractor shall ensure replacement doors are compatible with existing refrigerator and freezer units, and are UL and NSF listed products. Contractor shall submit replacement door product submittals for approval prior to ordering. New doors shall include the following options: 1) three (3) hinges for swing-type doors; 2) top-mounted self-closer mechanism for swing type doors; 3) one (1) heated safety glass view-port in each door, 12” x 12” min size, 16” x 16” max; 4) exterior diamond kick plates, 1/8” thick min aluminum, 30” high x full width of doors; swing-type doors shall have kick plates installed on interior as well; 4) inside safety release mechanism for swing-type doors.
