Repair of Various Roads in the East Aldine (South) Area, Harris Co., TX

Work of the project involves the repair of various roads (approx. 17.2 miles) in the East Aldine (South) Area for the Better Streets 2 Neighborhoods Community Program for Harris County Precinct 2 - UPIN 22102MF25901. The scope of work consists of but is not limited to the following: . 1. Perform milling of existing asphalt pavement to the depth determined by the Engineer, over the entire roadway width, at transitions, bridges and areas to be determined by the Engineer. 2. Perform base repairs or full depth reclamation as directed by the Engineer. 3. Place prime coat and tack coat at designated areas. 4. Place 2” thick (typical) Dense-Graded Asphalt Surface Course Overlay. 5. Place pavement markings in accordance with Harris County Standard Drawings and as directed by the Engineer. 6. Provide adequate traffic control during all phases of construction as specified in the attached drawings or as determined by the Engineer. 7. Cleanup and site restoration. Questions are due by 12:00 PM on Oct 15th. The County requires Vendors to make a good faith effort to meet or exceed a 11% goal for participation by M/WBEs on this project.
