Description

 New Water Main - Installation of approximately 1,805 LF of 8" C-900 DR-21 PVC water main along Woodlawn Park Drive in the new Northwest Florida Commerce Park at Woodlawn and will be part of the City of DeFuniak Springs water system. The water main includes typical appurtenances associated with water main installation including valves, fittings, thrust restraints, fire hydrants, taps, and tie-ins to existing lines, and other work as shown on the construction drawings and described in the specifications.  New Sewer Force Main - Installation of approximately 1,900 LF of 4" PVC force main along Woodlawn Park Drive in the new Northwest Florida Commerce The force main includes typical appurtenances associated with force main installation including valves, fittings, and tie-ins to existing lines and or manholes, and other work as shown  on the construction drawings and described in the specifications.  Roadway and Drainage – The work will include approximately 1,280 lf of roadway (2-12 foot lands, 5 foot shoulders and ditches). The pavement section will be a 2” SP Structural Course and a 1 ½” friction course. Storm drainage pipes will be 12-inch, 18-inch and 24-inch pipes and mitered end sections. The roadway construction will require clearing of trees, excavation and embankment compaction throughout the alignment.   Pavement will be marked and signed. Ditches and right of way will be sodded. A stormwater management facility (pond) will also be constructed. This work will include grading, shaping, excavation and outfall structures.
