Description
Colorado Mesa University (CMU) is seeking proposals from qualified firms for the design of
the HVAC, BAS and Security Upgrades to the server rooms at Wubben Hall and Health
Sciences. The existing systems are not able to keep up with expanding IT needs and offer
little to no redundancy. This project is intended to be completed in two (2) phases. The fully
funded first phase will upgrade the cooling capacity of the Wubben Hall server room along
with BAS and security upgrades to allow improved monitoring and control of the space.
Phase two, Health Sciences, is anticipated but subject to future state funding. This
solicitation seeks to select a design firm with specific expertise in Server room design with
emphasis on HVAC systems. In addition, a disconnect or bypass for the UPS system will
be installed to prevent downtime during maintenance.
