Description
The City of Sacramento, Department of Utilities (DOU), requires monthly trucking services for hauling drinking water residual solids to the City’s contracted landfill. The residual solids have been stored and will need to be hauled from three locations: • Sacramento River Water Treatment Plant (SRWTP), 301 Water St., Sacramento, 95811 • Fairbairn Water Treatment Plant (FWTP), 7501 College Town Dr., Sacramento, 95826 • Sump 157, North end of Western Ave (north of the intersection of Western Ave and Morrison Ave), South of I-80, Sacramento, 95838. The residual solids can be wet, moist, or dry, or any combination of these three moisture states. The material will generally be greater than 20% solids. Residual solids shall be transported and off-loaded at a destination determined by DOU. The current off-load site is the Yolo County Landfill, 44090 County Road 28H, Woodland, CA 95776, (530) 666-8729. Questions are due by Oct 13th prior to 8:17 PM.
