Description
This work involves the removal of temporary paving materials from excavations and trenches and furnishing and placement of sidewalk materials in public and private sidewalks as detailed in these specifications and where directed by the Engineer in the City of Boston. The Contractor will be given work at intervals as the Commission deems necessary, however, he will be required to respond to emergencies as defined in Section SC.3. The Commission does not guarantee that the work will be continuous or that the quantities shown in the bid pages will be fully utilized. The Contractor shall be available for work under this contract beginning on January 1, 2022 and through December 31, 2022; weather dependent. MBE goal is 9% and WBE goal is 6%.
