Street Light Maintenance Project, Gardner, MA

The City of Gardner is interested in contracting with an electrical construction/maintenance contractor to assume all electric work to ensure the proper operation of the street lighting system. The scope of work shall consist of making electrical supply wire and fixture repairs, including but not limited to general repairs, connections and disconnections to and from above ground electric power supplies, fixture removals, repairs and replacements on an as needed basis. Where applicable the retrofit of existing lights with newer updated fixtures and/or the addition of fixtures in new locations and repairs of knockdowns may be needed. In case of underground fed, dedicated light poles, they are the responsibility of the City of Gardner. Fixtures are defined as the streetlight head, arm, mounting bracket and hardware, complete. The contractor may also be asked to repair or install underground lines dedicated for streetlights. Deadline for questions is October 7, 2021 by 10:00am.
