Crack Sealing of County Roads, Ulster County, NY

The purpose of this bid is to establish a price for the cleaning and sealing of cracks in hot mix asphalt using hot applied sealant for the Ulster County Department of Public Works for indefinite miles of roadway. The contractor will furnish all necessary materials, equipment, and labor to accomplish the anticipated work. The anticipated work includes the maintenance and protection traffic (flagging) and the cleaning and sealing of existing primary cracks. Primary cracks are defined as those greater than or equal to 1/8 inch and less than or equal to 1 inch wide. The Ulster County Department of Public Works will schedule and coordinate the project with the Awarded vendor. The Contract Period will be from April 1, 2022 through March 31, 2023. The Contract may be extended, by mutual agreement between the County and the vendor, up to three (3) additional one (1) year periods under identical conditions and at the prices offered in the Bid Price Return Sheet.
