Description
DPS needs a newly constructed weapons and ammunition vault 30 ft w x 25 ft deep x 8 ft 6” h, and has a door opening capable of pallet jack access, 60” w x 84” H. The weapons vault will meet U.L. Class-M requirements, which is universally recognized by the U.S. military for secure storage of weapons and ammunition. The vault will be a surface mounted five-sided (no floor) modular vault system to the thickened slab. The exterior of the vault will be brushed concrete and the interior a smooth concrete. The design drawings for the vault must detail linear, and point loads the vault will deliver to the building foundation. The drawings must also be signed and sealed by an engineer licensed in the State of GA. The vault will be equipped with a minimum of 6 U.L. listed Class-M port vent panels equally spaced in the ceiling grid to provide HVAC access piping to be connected to the main building, located beside the vault. The vault will be equipped with a minimum of 2 – 3” diameter straight through sprinkler pipe (schedule 40 black iron) penetrations to be equally spaced on the east side of the ceiling grid. Pipes will run east/west. Includes conduit access for phone, electric, alarm and CCTV to be centered in the ceiling above the vault door. The installation of the vault will be 1000 Indian Springs Drive, Forsyth, GA 31029 (exit 188 off I-75 in Monroe County). All pricing must include delivery and installation.
