Annual Contract for Curbside Yard Waste, Savannah, GA

Chatham County is seeking qualified contractors to accept, process and dispose of the yard waste taken from curbside residents in an eco-friendly manner. The County estimates that approximately 75,000 to 80,000 tons of yard waste is collected yearly. Please note that due to the unexpected amount of yard waste that we collect from year to year the projections we expect to collect are only estimates. Due to current mandates on the amount of yard waste (90% of the materials cannot be stockpiled for more than 60 consecutive days) and the continuous collection of yard waste material, we are bringing in more yard waste than we can give away or stockpile. The County requires a vendor with no limitations on the volume. Pricing will be per truck load only. The County estimates each truckload to contain six to eight tons per truck load.
