Description
Dinwiddie County seeks quotes from qualified contractors for construction of fencing as described: Scope of Work: 1. Location: Main baseball field of the Dinwiddie Sports Complex located at 5850 R. B. Pamplin Drive, Sutherland, VA 23885. 2. Attachment A shows the location on the field and Attachment B shows the shows sketch and dimensions. 3. Construct 126’ of fence around a to-be-constructed double bullpen at the first base line outside the existing fence. 4. Install two (2) 4’ wide gates in the existing fence; one in the outfield and one at the first base line bullpen. 5. Fencing shall be 8’ tall, 8 gauge wire with black vinyl coating. All line, terminal and gate post shall be 3”, schedule 40 and be put in concrete. 6. Fence construction will occur after construction of the first base line bullpen. Construction of the bullpens is expected to be December 1, 2021. Contractor has two weeks from notification by the County to complete the fencing. All work shall be completed no later than December 17, 2021.
