Bridge Replacement of SN 092-0060 over a Drainage Ditch, Vermillion County, IL

The intent of this project is a bridge replacement over a drainage ditch 0.5 MI N of US 136 (E) by replacing the existing SN 092-0060 with proposed SN 092-2045 carrying F.A.P. 840 (ILL 49); to extend the service life; upgrade the safety attributes of the structure; and improve the roadway on both approaches to the structure. This work shall be completed utilizing staged construction to maintain traffic on F.A.P. 840 (ILL 49) throughout the project duration in accordance with the applicable Highway Standards. The Contractor shall utilize methods necessary to protect and preserve the surrounding environment and properties during construction of this project. DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT This project involves but is not necessarily limited to the following items of work: 1. Construction of Base Course (Option) 2. Replacement of SN 092-0600 with proposed SN 092-2045 utilizing staged construction 3. Placement of Class D patches 4. HMA pavement removal and resurfacing 5. Installation of new guardrail 6. Placement of new raised reflective pavement markers 7. Seeding, mulch, & final clean-up 8. All other necessary items to complete construction on F.A.P. 840 (ILL 49). DBE goal for this project is 3%.
