Ground Storage Tank Rehabilitation, Pottsboro, TX

The Project generally consists of rehabilitation work for two welded steel ground storage tanks (referred to as Old Denison and New Denison). The following list is provided for reference only. Refer to the design documents for additional details. (1) Pre-cleaning of the tanks, including capping and sealing of the inlet and outlets, and disassembly of hatches, manways, and accessories. (2) Cleaning of the tanks prior to reinspection services. (3) Reinspection of the tanks. (4) Removal, collection, management, and disposal of paint with lead, chromates, and PCBs for the Old Denison tank. (5) General repair of the tanks. (6) Surface preparation of interior and exterior tank surfaces consisting of corrosive and damage spot removal of existing coating system, removal of existing coating system to “white” metal, and recoating. (7) Rehabilitation and replacement of attachments and accessories. (8) Dispose of all hazardous materials. (9) Disinfection of the tanks. (10) Provide hydrostatic water tightness tests. (11) Site work, including clearing, stripping, grading, excavating, backfilling, compacting, seeding, sodding, and paving.
