Description
The work consists of providing the necessary labor, materials, equipment, and supervision to construct 42-inch sanitary sewer & 12-inch waterline relocation along F.M. 2218 in the City of Rosenberg, Fort Bend County, Texas. The project includes but is not limited to providing the necessary labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and plans to construct approximately 1,200 linear feet of 42-inch (42”) sanitary sewer, 200 linear feet of 21-inch (21”) sanitary sewer, 1 – 8-foot (8’) diameter manhole and 3 – 6-foot (6’) diameter manholes, grouting and abandoning 1,200 linear feet of 42-inch gravity sanitary and manholes, and 170 linear feet of 12-inch (12”) waterline by open cut and trenchless construction methods, including all valves, fittings, and related appurtenances. The proposed sanitary sewer relocation is located along F.M. 2218 from the Interstate 69 Northbound Frontage Road southwest towards Business Park Drive. The existing sewer is in a 15-foot sanitary sewer easement adjacent to the original northwest Right-of-Way (ROW) of F.M. 2218 from IH 69 to 500 feet southwest of Bryan Road, however, TxDOT is acquiring 10-feet (10’) of additional ROW. The proposed 42-inch sewer relocation will take place into newly acquired 18’ and 20’ easements outside of the proposed F.M. 2218 TxDOT ROW acquisition. The waterline relocation crosses F.M. 2218 at Business Park Drive. Fort Bend County Key Map No. 605W and 605X.
