Description
The base bid scope of the work consists of the removal and replacement of approximately 38 storm and sanitary sewer structures and rehabilitation of approximately 22 storm and sanitary structures within the City of Rochester’s Central Vehicle Maintenance Facility complex. The project also includes approximately 3,300 LF of jetting, heavy cleaning, removal and disposal of debris and post construction televising of the site’s storm and sanitary sewer system. In addition, the base bid scope of work include pavement and surface restoration, removal and disposal of up of 1,200 tons of excavated material to an offsite landfill, and implementation of a Soil Management Plan. Alternate No. 1 scope of work includes removal and replacement of approximately 8 additional storm sewer structures including the associated surface and pavement restoration. The Contractor will start the work within 10 days of receipt of the written Notice to Proceed as issued by the City Engineer. The Contractor shall complete the work within 120 calendar days from the date the Notice to Proceed. MBE goal is 20% and WBE goal is 10%.
