Central Avenue Elevated Water Storage Tank Rehab, Annapolis, MD

The Work includes the following major items: Rehabilitation of the Central Avenue Elevated Water Storage Tank (EWST). Work under this Contract includes but is not limited to safety improvements, miscellaneous repairs on the interior wet, interior dry, and exterior including coating removal and application of new coatings. The Contractor will be required to replace the roof vent, tighten tower rods, install insect screens on flute vents, install a roof handrail system, patch various holes and seal various openings, provide ladder climb extensions and fall arrest systems, caulk various joints, replace a 24” manway with a 30” manway on the wet riser, install a hydrodynamic mixing system, install a pressure sensing pipe and transmitter, modify the tank overflow pipe to include an overflow security valve, dechlorination fitting and inlet box, replace altitude and gate valves, and upgrade instrumentation in valve vault. Work shall also include electrical facilities to necessary to support proposed improvements. All surfaces of the tank shall have existing coatings removed and replaced. Q&A due by 5pm, 11/4/21. DBE GFE required.
