Design-Build: W.B.Casey WRRF Biosolids Facilities Upgrade , Clayton County, GA

Renovations: The planned improvements include primary sludge thickening, anaerobic digestion, dewatering, cake receiving, thermal drying, and incorporating certain existing units into the biosolids handling system. GEFA-funded projects have a project goal of a minimum of 4% Women Business Enterprise (WBE) and 4% Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) participation, as applied to the total value of the agreed-upon GMP or lump sum price for Phase 2 Services. Project site visits will be offered on Friday, November 5 and Monday, November 8 through Tuesday, November 9, 2021. Owner may add additional dates for site visits if necessary. Prospective proposers who wish to visit the Project site shall register their proposer team with the Owner via e-mail no later than 12:00 p.m., local time, on Friday, October 29, 2021.  Each proposer team may register for only one site visit and must provide an e-mail contact for receipt of site visit information. Questions due via email by November 16, 2021, 10:00am. In Appendix C of the Proposal, provide a letter from the Design-Builder's surety to provide evidence of the ability of the Design-Builder to provide payment and performance bonds of at least $100 million for this Project. The surety must be authorized by law to do business in the State of Georgia and must have an A.M. Best Company Rating of A- or better. The surety must also be listed in the U.S. Department of Treasury’s Circular 570.
