Replace Fuel Tanks for City Public Works Yard, Fernandina Beach, FL

Provide 30 day and 48-hour notifications to the FDEP • Provide engineered drawings as required for permitting • Obtain any required permits (City will pay for permit fees) • Disconnect existing electrical to (2) 2,000-gallon vaulted tanks • Remove and dispose of all tank hardware • Clean tanks and properly dispose of all petroleum contact water • Provide necessary equipment for demolition of tanks • Remove and dispose of (2) 2,000-gallon vaulted tanks • Supply and install (1) 5,000-6000-gallon UL-2085, split compartment, double-walled, above ground tank • Tank must be a Modern Welding AST or equivalent • Anchor tank to the concrete slab (if the existing slab is structurally insufficient, the City will reinforce or re-pour the concrete slab) • Install new steel piping to existing suction pumps • All surfaces must be painted with a high-performance coating • Provide and install new Morrison Brothers, or equivalent, mechanical fuel level gauges • Provide and install interstitial sensor gauges • Obtain final permits and completed site cleanup
